Rotating Cleaners

Controlled Rotating Cleaners

Slowly rotating jet cleaners use targeted flat or round jet nozzles to spray the cleaning solution on the tank wall – achieving optimum cleaning results.

Unlike spray balls, the cleaner does not wet all inner tank surfaces at the same time, but rather, applies a concentrated liquid jet to one segment of the tank wall at a time.

This means that the full impact energy of the jet can act on this particular segment and that a thicker liquid film forms on the tank wall, which, due to its higher energy, achieves better cleaning results as it runs down to the tank outlet. Without switching the supply pump on/off, this produces a pulse/pause type of operation for each segment of the tank that allows the product residues to be softened and rinsed off.

This effect cannot be achieved by a spray ball. As a result, the mechanical cleaning effect of the slowly rotating cleaner is much greater than that of a spray ball. This even applies if the cleaning solution flow rate is relatively low. Under normal operating conditions the cleaning medium consumption is about 30-50% less compared to a spray ball.

  • Slow constant rotation
  • Powerful fan or round jets
  • Driven using fluid transmission
  • Long life due to wear-resistant components

Jet Tank Washer Type 2E/2B

Tank cleaning size: up to 12 m (39 ft)
Operating Pressure: 2.3 to 4.3 bar
(33 to 62 psi)
Flow rate: 7 to 29 m³/h
(116 to 483 l/min;)
(30.8 to 127.7 USgpm)
Spray pattern: 360°

The rotating jet cleaner Type 2E is for hanging in tanks in levels circulating fan jets.

Jet Tank Washer Turbo SSB 40/75/125

Tank cleaning size: up to 10 m (33 ft)
Operating Pressure: 2 to 10 bar (29 to 145 psi)
Flow rate: 2.1 to 24.5 m³/h
(38 to 409 l/min;)
(10.1 to 107.9 USgpm)
Spray pattern: 360°

The jet cleaner Turbo SSB 40 takes the popular slotted spray ball format into its next evolutionary phase by removing the ball bearings and slowing the rotation speed down.

Jet Tank Washer Troll Ball 2 & 3 Inch

Tank cleaning size: up to 7 m (23 ft)
Operating Pressure: 3 to 12 bar (44 to 174 psi)
Flow rate: 3.0 to 16.2 m³/h (50 to 270 l/min;13.2 to 71.3 USgpm)
Spray pattern: 360° or 180°

The Troll Balls simple and effective drive mechanism ensures slow constant rotation speeds. This action provides consistent cleaning when using different cleaning fluids across a wide temperature range. The minimal moving parts provide a very low maintenance, compact cleaning solution.

Jet Tank Washer Sanitor

Tank cleaning size: up to 4.8 m (15 ft)
Operating Pressure: 2 to 20 bar (29 to 290 psi)
Flow rate: 1.5 to 4.8 m³/h
(25 to 80 l/min;)
(6.6 to 21.1 USgpm)
Spray pattern: 360°

The rotating jet cleaner Sanitor is ideally suited for applications where a compact, low flow, high sanitary unit is required.
